Arts and Crafts Exhibitors
I am a self-taught felt maker and have been making full time for three years now, and loving every minute. I use local sheep and alpaca wool, and use traditional hand rolling techniques to create a range of practical & beautiful clothing & accessories.
Bead weaving is the craft of using hundreds of tiny beads, needle and thread, and various- mostly traditional - stitch patterns to create unusual, beautiful jewellery. In addition to my beadwoven jewellery , I use quality fabrics and yarns to create bags, scarves and accessories that are totally unique.
At "Beads of Time" we work mainly with glass, wood, beads, wool and fabric - making unique and colourful items and gifts. This includes stained glass lightcatchers, a vast selection of watches, hair accessories, bookmarks, brooches and much more. We enjoy working on commission orders and personalised items, such as wedding favours.
We do 3hr courses teaching fused glass, Tiffany glass, stained glass and bone carving.
We also make and sell sculptures in glass and driftwood.
We are three artists inspired by natural form & wild Cornwall.
Jess Harrington – unique plant moments hand pressed & preserved in botanical tile relief.
Donna Jonas – fairtrade paper, natural watercolours & historical inks create semi-abstract images used as patterns for fabrics.
Tom Harrington – silver, copper & bronze cast earrings inspired by plants & natural forms.
C Jane Jewellery creates beautiful, bespoke sterling silver jewellery often with the addition of bronze or copper. All of my designs are inspired by living in Cornwall. The sea, the patterns of the tides, the hedgerows and coastline all have their individual stories in the pieces.
