Domspottery is both functional and a little different. Dom is pouring his all into each piece, blending influences from places he lived or visited, East Europe and the United States.
His engineering background, ensures that he will not release a piece unless he is satisfied with the quality. Glaze colours are blended along his moods, or in experiments creating new pieces each time, or experimenting with material to come up with new ideas.
The studio is located near Launceston in beautiful Cornwall.
Feel free to contact Dom and come to visit and see the newest pieces displayed, or check that a piece you saw on his website is really the one for you.
He's happy to talk about any aspect of his pottery so do come have a chat!
I handcut every single butterfly by scissors and then add each one to build up beautiful 3D pictures. I can personalise them for weddings, anniversaries, new borns, etc. with names, dates and any special words you wish to add. All my pictures are inspired by love, family and creation.
Jack recently graduated from Falmouth University with a BA in Marine and Natural History Photography. In his latest work he has encapsulated his lifelong love of the sea and illustrated the ever-changing movement of the ocean, blurring the lines between a traditional photograph and a watercolour painting. These beautiful fine art photographs illustrate the natural light and magnificence of the Cornish coastline. He will be selling these pieces of photographic art and also images taken throughout the UK of landscapes and natural history at this craft fair
Inspired by a love of all things colourful.
